If you grew up here or raised your family here you remember Jack giving these to the kids. We can't think of a better way to honor his legacy!
The following Lobby and Auditorium Protocols are designed to minimize all of our risk of infection.
Individuals must make their own decisions about risk & reward regarding this pandemic, and we are choosing to open the theatre. We are walking the line between infection control and our human need for social connection. After you read our protocols, you may or may not agree that the theatre experience is a reward worth any risk at all. However, if our safety measures meet your personal requirements for minimizing risk, then we are overjoyed to welcome you back to the movies!
Great news! No crowding in the entryway or snack bar!
Moviegoers will be allowed to enter the building one "bubble" at a time. The box office will be open 30 minutes prior to each showing; however, we strongly recommend reserving your seats online, because seats are limited. Online purchasing ensures you get seats to the show you want! You can order snacks from your smartphone or make cash purchases from our new snack push carts.
Come back to the movies! Slip out by yourself, bring your partner or family or whoever's in your bubble. Reserving your seats online means no lines at the door.
In order to offer the safest theatre experience possible, we have reduced the maximum capacity of the theater down from 275 to a maximum of 66 (24%). Each reserved group of seats is more than 8 feet from others. Bubble up, people!
The Morgan County Health Department tells us that covid-19 droplets can linger in the air after an innocent carrier leaves an indoor space. Our bathroom fans are equipped with externally venting exhaust fans. Also, we'll run a huge fan, and open the emergency doors to blow out and refresh the air between each showing!
MASK-UP WHEN THE FEATURE FILM IS PLAYING.
Please help us all keep safe. Doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime. This is when snacks will be served and may be consumed. Then, mask-up y'all, for the remainder of time you're in the theatre. Drinks are served with straws so that you may slide your straw up under your properly fitting mask to sip during the movies.
And, parents, this goes for children, too. If your child is not a perfect little masker, please wait to come to the movies until we can relax our protocols.
Again, please help us. We are all in this together! Thank you!
Not only is this a West Virginia mandate, but we consider it a kindness to those whose personal vulnerabilities you cannot know. You must wear it properly the entire time you're here. We will have masks available for purchase if you arrive without one. You will not be allowed to enter the theater building without one, and refunds of online purchases, including concessions, will not be issued if you refuse to wear it and wear it properly. If you cannot wear a mask for personal health reasons, then we will see you when this is all over. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Our staff will stay home if they come into contact with anyone with symptoms or with a positive covid-19 test, or if they become ill. Please, do the same. Please contact the theater by phone at 304-258-1404, email, or website contact form prior to your show for a redemption code for a future showing. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a redemption if you do not contact us prior to your show time
Before and after each showing, the theatre is bathed and anointed as befitting a Star! We wipe down all hard surfaces (especially in the bathrooms, of course!) and spray Lysol on soft surfaces. Servers wear food-safety gloves, masks & aprons. And, hand-sanitizer is at the entrance of the theatre for all.
